This server is gone forever, it's removed from use and not coming back.

This server contains services which support researchers needs. Interactive logging is not allowed and server is visible only inside university network. Access from internet will be possible through portti.lut.fi. Daily Backups.

NFS shares are usable in laskenta1.it.lut.fi computer and Windows shares can be used from anywhere. (inside university network)

• NFS /net/regulus/project: projects, Windows \\regulus\project (same than itlab share)
• NFS /net/regulus/users: personal folders, Windows \\regulus\users

• NFS /net/regulus/itlab: Information technology laboratory projects, Windows \\regulus\itlab (same than project share)
• NFS /net/regulus/comlab: Communication software laboratory projects, Windows \\regulus\comlab
• NFS /net/regulus/softeng: Software engineering research group projects, Windows \\regulus\softeng
• NFS /net/regulus/linuxapps: Shared linux applications, Windows \\regulus\linuxapps

Version control service, older technology. Can be used through /net/regulus/project fileshare

subversion is version control service, mostly improved compared to CVS. Can be used through secure webdav protocol. Location of repsotories:

https://regulus.it.lut.fi/svn/<laboratory>/<project name>

• laboratory is either itlab, comlab or softeng.

Plugins installed to thjis wiki:

• Multitemplate plugin with monobook template, adds some mediawiki functionality and style.
• Mathmulti adds possibility to use latex mathematical formulas in wiki pages
• Blog, include and pagelist plugins adds possibility to make blog-like wikinamespaces. Example for archive blog.
• S5 plugin adds slideshow functionality to wiki pages, you can run slideshows directly from wiki with web browser. Slideshow example.
• pagemove plugins allow admin to move pges from one namespace to another
