Adobe connect Pro is virtual conferencing and meeting software which supports audio, video, chatting, slideshows and so on… Can be used for example:

University have own server license, http://acp.cc.lut.fi. Ilmari Laakkonen have host license and creates user accounts and meeting rooms for other users in our department.

You connect to server with your web browser with adobe flash plugin installed.

Presenter software requirements:

• Windows system, IE or Mozilla browser with flash plugin
• Mac system, Safari or Mozilla browser with flash plugin

Participants software requirements:

• Windows system, IE or Mozilal browser with flash plugin
• Mac system, Safari or Mozilla browser with flash plugin
• Linux system, Mozilla browser with flash plugin
• Solaris system, Mozilla browser with flash plugin

Hardware requirements:

• Headset with microphone if you need to use audio during your meetings
• Webcamera if you need to send video during your meetings
• You can order headset and camera from university helpdesk (helpdesk@lut.fi), default set costs ~120 euro including both camera and headset.

Meeting room policy? One namespace for university, should department be visible at room name somehow?

There is three different level user roles for users. Default level for our personnels which have account is host and for quest users default role is participant.

• Host. Host can modify user roles during meeting and change or modify meeting layouts. Remember that if you change layout, it's visible to all meeting members, it's not just your own layout which you modify.
• Presenter. Can't modify or change layout, but can use talk button and can use share functionality if sharing panel is visible at current layout.
• Participant. Can follow meeting and use chat.

Materiaali kannattaa tuoda etukäteen jolloin ei tarvitse odotella niiden latautumista kesken esityksen. Vastuu-/pääkäyttäjän homma, aktiiviselle käyttäjälle hankitaan oma lisenssi että hän voi tehdä omia huoneita, käsitellä materiaaleja ja raportteja.
