Unevenness of printing

Goals

This project is a sub-project of larger industrial research project Papvision. The goal of this sub-project is to review and revise existing, and develop new methods for an automatic analysis of mottling, i.e., the unevenness of a solid printed area The main goal is to propose new hardware and software solutions to determine the mottling index of a sample within the industrial requirements for accuracy and reliability.

First results of new methods have been published in scientific conferences. The proposed methods outperform the existing ones.
