The 19th Summer School on Telecommunications will be held at the Student Union House (Ylioppilastalo in the map below), next to the Lappeenranta University of Technology.

Public transportation

Lappeenranta is about 250 km from Helsinki. Lappeenranta can be reached by train (2-3 hours) or by bus (4 hours). You can use Journey.fi service to find route information from Helsinki-Vantaa to Lappeenranta University of Technology. Use Airport, Vantaa as origin and Skinnarilankatu 34, Lappeenranta as destination. The service suggests connections for the route, and it's possible to show the route on a map.

AirBaltic (via Riga or Tallin) and Ryanair (Weeze/Düsseldorf) have international flights to Lappeenranta.

Driving instructions

Come off the highway number 6 and follow the signs YLIOPISTO (University).

Drive straight on the HELSINGINTIE street until you come to traffic lights. At the lights turn left to SKINNARILANKATU street following the YLIOPISTO (University) signs.

From these traffic lights you have about 2,3 kilometres to the university straight on the SKINNARILANKATU street. On your left you will see the red bricked campus buildings.
